Crew only, by hand

Why it matters

A layover is better with people who live the same job: same hours, same jet lag, same stories, same instinct for where to go and when to stop. That only works if everyone in the room is crew. The moment family pass holders, enthusiasts or recruiters get in, the board stops being worth opening. So every account is checked by a person before it can see anyone.

Who is accepted

Current pilots and cabin crew of any airline, anywhere in the world.

Not accepted: ground staff, dispatchers and other airline employees, family and buddy pass holders, retired crew, student pilots, aviation enthusiasts, recruiters and anyone else who does not currently fly a roster.

How you prove it

You submit one proof. Pick whichever is easiest; they are offered in this order.

1. Company email (recommended)A one-time code is sent to your airline mailbox. You enter it in the app. The address is never shown anywhere and is not kept; only a fingerprint of it is stored so one mailbox cannot verify several accounts.
2. Roster screenshotA screenshot of your roster app or crew portal showing your name and the airline. Cover anything else you like. No ID number is involved.
3. Crew ID plus selfieA photo of your crew ID with the ID number covered, plus a selfie so the face can be matched. This is the fallback when the other two are not possible.

We never ask for a government ID, a passport, a licence or any ID number.

What happens to your proof

It is looked at by a two-person admin team, both airline crew themselves, and by nobody else. It is never shared, never used for anything other than this decision, and it is deleted as soon as the decision is made. Only the decision itself (approved, rejected, or a request for another proof, with the date and the reason) is kept.

Timing

You get a decision within 24 hours, usually faster. If the proof is unclear, you are asked for a second one with a one-line reason, and your account stays pending until it is in.

Keeping it honest

Verification is renewed every 12 months. Every verified member gets an invite link, and the inviter is accountable: one rejected invitee disables the link, three put the inviter back under review. Every profile has a "not crew" report; a reported account is asked for a fresh proof within 48 hours and is hidden until it passes. Reports are read by a person, and the reporter is told the outcome.

What verification is, and is not

Verification checks employment proof. It does not vet anyone's character or conduct. Meet people the way you would meet any colleague for the first time: see the safety page.
